Overview
South Carolina's solar industry has grown quickly, reaching about 4,000 megawatts of installed capacity by 2023, enough to power hundreds of thousands of homes. Utility-scale solar farms have expanded across the Midlands and Pee Dee following state-level distributed energy legislation.
