Washington

Washington is the thirteenth-most populous state and one of the fastest-growing advanced economies in the country. The Puget Sound corridor concentrates global headquarters in software, cloud computing, aerospace and retail — Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, Starbucks, Costco — while the Columbia Basin east of the Cascades produces more apples and hydroelectric power than any other state. Washington levies no personal income tax.
