Colorado

Colorado is a fast-growing Mountain West state anchored by the Denver metro area, powered by aerospace, technology, energy and a booming outdoor-recreation economy. Its economy benefits from a highly educated workforce and a business-friendly climate along the Front Range, while the Rocky Mountains dominate the western two-thirds of the state. Colorado has become a national hub for cannabis, craft brewing and renewable energy. Population growth has slowed recently but the state remains one of the wealthiest and most educated in the country.
