Overview
Nebraska generates electricity through a mix of wind, coal, and nuclear power from the Cooper Nuclear Station, all delivered through the state's uniquely all-public power system. Wind energy has grown rapidly and now supplies roughly a third of Nebraska's generation. Nebraska remains the only U.S. state fully served by publicly owned electric utilities.
