Chittenden County

Chittenden County is Vermont's economic engine, holding about a quarter of the state's population around Burlington on Lake Champlain. It combines the University of Vermont, the state's largest hospital network, GlobalFoundries' semiconductor fab in Essex Junction and the most diverse communities in the state.
